L\u2019objectif est de renforcer la protection de toute personne concern\u00e9e par le traitement de ses donn\u00e9es personnelles en am\u00e9liorant, d\u2019une part, la transparence relative \u00e0 ce traitement et, d\u2019autre part, le droit d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 ses donn\u00e9es, mais \u00e9galement de maintenir la compatibilit\u00e9 du droit suisse avec le droit europ\u00e9en et pr\u00e9server ainsi la libre circulation des donn\u00e9es, tout en garantissant la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 de la Suisse. Adopt\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019automne 2020 par le Parlement, le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral fix\u00e9 en ao\u00fbt 2022 l\u2019entr\u00e9e en vigueur de la Loi r\u00e9vis\u00e9e sur la protection des donn\u00e9es (\u00abnLPD\u00bb) et de ses ordonnances d\u2019application au 1er septembre 2023, laissant ainsi aux responsables de traitement (anciennement \u00abma\u00eetres de chier\u00bb) une
